Welcome to the official website of the Health Business Week (HBW)! We would like to welcome you to the 16th edition of the HBW, which will take place from March 8th to March 18th 2027.
The HBW is the leading healthcare career and networking event where students, companies, organizations, and thought leaders come together to build connections, exchange knowledge, and explore the future of healthcare. We are proud to be the largest healthcare-related business week in the Netherlands. HBW reaches far beyond the approximately 1,300 invited bachelor's, pre-master's, and master's students from the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM). Students from other faculties and universities with an interest in the healthcare sector are also warmly welcomed.
The HBW offers students a unique opportunity to explore the healthcare labour market and connect with potential employers. Throughout the event, they can participate in company presentations, workshops, speed interviews, company dinners, networking events, and informal recruitment activities. For companies or organizations, HBW provides a unique platform to engage with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
The future of Dutch healthcare lies in the hands of these emerging healthcare professionals. At the same time, the sector faces major challenges, including a growing demand for care, workforce shortages, and continuously rising costs. Digital innovations and technological advancements offer unprecedented opportunities to keep healthcare accessible, affordable, and of high quality. Nevertheless, the human aspect of care remains indispensable. Therefore, HBW 2027 focuses on exploring how digitalization and person-centred care can work together in shaping the healthcare system of tomorrow. This vision forms the foundation of this year's theme: "Think Digital, Care Human." Through this theme, we aim to inspire students, professionals, companies, and organizations to work together towards a healthcare system that is sustainable, innovative, digital, and human-centered.
This year marks the 16th edition of HBW from the 8th of March till the18th of March, once again organised by the HBW committee, under the faculty association SHARE. Our committee, consisting of eight ambitious and motivated students, aims to organise two unforgettable weeks.
