About HBW

Dear reader,

Welcome to the Health Business Week website. This year, the 14th edition of the HBW, will take place from March 3rd to March 13th, 2025.

The HBW is the leading healthcare event where students, companies, organizations, opinion leaders, and keynote speakers converge. We take pride in mentioning that this is the largest healthcare-related business week event in the Netherlands. A record-breaking 43 companies participated in the 2023 event. Its influence extends further as, in addition to the approximately 1300 invited bachelor’s, pre-master’s, and master’s students from the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management (ESHPM). Students from other faculties and universities with an interest in the healthcare sector are warmly welcomed.

The HBW offers students the opportunity to explore the healthcare-related job market. They can participate in company presentations, workshops, business cases, speed interviews, corporate dinners, networking events, informal recruitments, and thus get acquainted with your company or organization.

The course of Dutch healthcare rests in the hands of these healthcare talents. The pursuit of suitable healthcare for everyone remains an essential mission, and contemporary healthcare professionals face the challenge of ensuring high-quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare. Therefore, it is crucial that the new generation of healthcare talents looks at healthcare issues with a fresh perspective and presents forward-thinking, intelligent, and sustainable solutions. Central to this endeavor is the recognition that value-based healthcare is of immeasurable importance. Thus, the theme of HBW 2025 is "Health, a global commitment; Connected care for healthier tomorrow"

This year marks the 14th edition of HBW, once again organized by the HBW committee, under the faculty association SHARE. Our committee, consisting of nine ambitious and motivated students, aims to organize two unforgettable weeks.

We look forward to connect with you!

On behalf of the entire committee,

Carlinde Meijer
